Impregnated and non-impregnated Travelnet
Our travel mosquito nets -also called a Travelnet- are available in impregnated and non-impregnated mosquito nets. With both mosquito nets, it is impossible for mosquitoes or other insects to sting or bite you.The non-impregnated Travelnet mosquito nets, PURE, are perfect for travel within Europe and countries where there is no immediate danger of diseases such as dengue, yellow fever and malaria. If your trip goes to countries in Asia and Africa, we recommend the impregnated, LLIN, mosquito nets. If a mosquito or other insect comes into contact with the impregnated fabric, it will be eliminated instantly. You can even lie directly against the net, even then you will be safe.
However, we always recommend staying separate from the travel mosquito net. Of course, the fabric is harmless to humans, but there is always the danger of a resistant mosquito showing up. However, it is impossible for him to fly through the fabric due to the fine mesh.
All Travelnet mosquito nets are made with a mesh of 256 mesh. The WHO standard is 156 mesh. So with 156 mesh, you get larger holes than our Travelnet mosquito nets with 256 mesh. The Travelnet mosquito nets, both impregnated and non-impregnated, have even smaller holes, 256 mesh, and thus protect you even better. When buying, always pay attention to the mesh version. The cheaper mosquito nets on the market often come with less than 156 mesh, or larger holes.
